SMART HOME TECHNICIAN

OURO delivers beautifully integrated smart technology solutions for high-end homes and commercial spaces across Dubai and the GCC. We work with developers, designers, and private clients to create intelligent environments powered by systems like Lutron, Control4, KNX, and Savant.

As our project pipeline grows, we’re hiring experienced Smart Home Technicians to join our Dubai-based team. If you’re someone who takes pride in precision, understands what it means to work in luxury environments, and thrives in a collaborative team — we want to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing:

Installation and Integration

• Install and configure smart home systems (Lutron, Control4, KNX, Savant)
  to spec and to standard
• Run and terminate structured cabling (Cat6, speaker cable, coax, etc.)
• Install AV racks, projectors, panels, Wi-Fi access points, lighting modules,
  sensors, and interfaces and other technology to complete our smart home offerings.

System Testing and Handover

• Run diagnostics, ensure functionality across devices and platforms
• Support clean handover to the client, including documentation and orientation.

‍Support and Troubleshooting

• Assist with issue resolution during and post-install
• Provide on-site support where required for existing client systems.

Team Collaboration and Standards

• Work alongside project managers, programmers, and installers to maintain project flow
• Uphold OURO’s standards of cleanliness, professionalism, and attention to detail on-site.

What we’re looking for:
‍

• Minimum 2 years of experience with Lutron, Control4, KNX, or Savant installations
• Confident with wired infrastructure, AV setups, home cinema, and networking
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings and schematics
• Skilled in safe tool handling, cable management, and on-site etiquette
• Proactive and reliable — you take pride in finishing work properly the first time
• Fluent in English; other languages are a bonus
• Valid UAE driving license preferred.
